Mr. Hunn,

I support the goal of your work, but cannot support the entire

proposal. I do not support a mandatory "draft" to support an "American World Service Corps".

I do support increasing funding for the Peace Corps, although I do not think we can support a 1,000,000 person force. I believe we must improve our efforts to reach out to other nations and cultures to promote moderates and the cause of peace. I support increased training of linguists for our military and foreign service corps. We must increase our efforts at diplomacy, and we should only use military force as a last resort. If we are serious about reducing terror, we must engage in a "Battle of Ideas" instead of a physical battle. The current methods being used are counter-productive.
