George Wrong Bush was the wrong Bush invading Iraq.

He was wrong in relying on his narrow minded, silvered spooned, connected corporate team to understand the global village.

Seemingly unknown to Bush and his team, the world is filled with religions, cultures, tribes and gangs who think and do much differently than we.  Bush’s wrong team of top advisors has few who have served amidst the world’s religions, cultures, tribes and gangs; few who have served doing hellish military work or hard Peace Corpish work that nation building requires.  Instead, his advisors are stacked with tunnel-versioned corporate power climbers.

Bush, whose pre-presidency foreign experience is reputed to have been a trip to London and Saudi Arabia, failed to offset his zero global village experience with a broad and balanced staff.  Instead, he surrounded himself with mostly loyal power seekers.

Had G. Wrong Bush had a broadly diversified team they would have: 1) forcibly questioned entering the Iraq war essentially alone and 2) educated the president on just how difficult nation building is.

Had any of my fellow Peace Corps volunteers, or friends who have lived and worked extensively abroad, had a legitimate voice on Bush’s myopic team, the world would be a safer place and less of our blood and money would be gone.
